DIFC H1 2025: record performance

what is it about

On 28 July 2025, DIFC reported 1,081 new active registered companies in H1 (up 32% YoY), taking total active companies to 7,700 and professionals to 47,901. The centre highlighted leadership in multiple GFCI categories and rapid growth of its wealth & asset management, banking/capital markets, and hedge-fund clusters. FinTech and Innovation companies rose to 1,388 (up 28% YoY). DIFC also trailed forthcoming legislative upgrades (e.g., VCC Regulations) and major education and sustainability programs. The numbers reinforce DIFC’s pull for regulated finance, asset managers, and tech.
