“One Freezone Passport” goes live in Dubai
what is it about
Dubai Free Zones Council formally rolled out the One Freezone Passport on 22 July 2025, letting companies operate across multiple Dubai free zones under a single licence. The first onboarding under the scheme — Louis Vuitton — combined warehousing in JAFZA with a corporate office at DWTC Free Zone. The expansion was completed in just five days, underscoring the speed and administrative simplicity of the model. The initiative aligns with Dubai’s D33 agenda and is meant to cut duplication in licensing and onboarding. For multi-zone supply chains or split functions (HQ + logistics), this materially lowers friction.
